About
The Stride Force Functional Mobility Program was created by Exercise Physiologist McKenze TerVeer. This program will cover stretching and strengthening moves that are used with the tunnel. The program helps strengthen stabilizer muscles in the hips as well as work on functional mobility to protect the athlete as they get older. Athletes stress their bodies with extensive training and at time can neglect stabilizer muscle groups. This can lead to overuse injuries or worse. McKenze has been working with physical therapists on this program and has seen wonderful results with improvement in balance, flexibility and strength in the lower extremities. This program is recommended to be done 2-3 times per week and can be done at home! When the user feels ready try adding in light weight dumbbells to help with grip strength and muscle strengthening.
