McKenze trained with top pitching coaches in the West Michigan region and gained a plethora of knowledge. She was award 1st team All State honors her Junior and Senior year of high school and continued her softball career at Grand Valley State University where she received her bachelors in Exercise Science. Her passion for the sport did not end when her colligate career ended. She continued to do private softball lessons. 10 years later and after quite a bit of research and studying other popular coaches she modified and created the Stride Force Toe Drag Tunnel.
"I continued to see the stress that improper form was putting on the body and knew that there needed to be a change. The rotating and lack of launch angle was causing the upper body and arm to do too much while the lower half was rotated in an off position. This can increase the risk of injury. The progress I have seen from my students who are using the stride force drag tunnel is outstanding. I am excited to continue to see growth and change from all pitchers who use this tool!"

McKenze's passions outside of softball is spending time with her husband and 2 kids.

"My family is my entire life. Everything I do, I do for them."
